Kyrgyzstan expects to increase trade turnover with Russia to $ 5 billion

Mutual trade turnover between Russia and Kyrgyzstan should increase to $5 billion per year. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov announced plans to achieve such indicators, addressing the participants of the meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission on cooperation.

According to him, in 2023, the trade turnover between the two countries reached $2.9 billion. And in the first quarter of this year, the turnover increased by 5.7%.

- We are aiming to increase it and bring it to $ 5 billion, and there is great potential for this. Kyrgyzstan is aimed at further strengthening the dialogue with Russia," the head of the Kyrgyz state stressed.
