Another round of Russia-US talks aimed at resolving bilateral disputes is expected to take place before the end of this year, according to Interfax. The exact date of the negotiations has not yet been set, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

According to the diplomat, the previous round of consultations took place recently. Although no specific date has been agreed upon for the next meeting, work continues on several fronts and there have been no significant delays in the process.

However, progress on key issues linked by Washington to the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine remains elusive.

In particular, the sides have not made headway on restoring direct air travel between Russia and the US or returning Russian diplomatic property.

Nevertheless, Ryabkov noted that there has been progress in other areas of the negotiation process. He praised the work of the negotiating teams, emphasizing that the meetings held so far have allowed for the preparation of materials and proposals for the next round of consultations.

While it is premature to speak of breakthrough results, Moscow intends to continue its dialogue with Washington, Ryabkov said.
