Medvedev: Russia has no plans for new mobilization

Russia has no plans for a new mobilization, according to Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev. He stated that the Russian Armed Forces are being staffed by soldiers who voluntarily sign contracts.

Medvedev emphasized that the current needs of the military are being met by citizens who choose to serve under contract. He highlighted that many soldiers join the service driven by patriotic beliefs and make a conscious decision to participate in combat.

"There are no plans for mobilization in our country. We have enough of our guys who are fighting, having signed contracts voluntarily, based on their patriotic convictions. They fight like heroes, but they do it consciously," Medvedev said, addressing participants at the Festival of New Media.

He also praised the courage of the soldiers, noting that they carry out their tasks with awareness and demonstrate heroic behavior.
