Drone Attack in Yaroslavl Region Kills One, Injures 27: Yevraev

Yaroslavl Region Governor Mikhail Yevraev announced the successful repelling of a morning drone attack. According to him, countermeasures eliminated 67 aerial targets.

Despite the successful defense, there were casualties. One person was killed as a result of falling debris.

Drone debris also damaged an intermunicipal bus (a type of public transportation connecting different municipalities). Preliminary reports indicate that 10 passengers were injured. Another 17 people were injured due to other consequences of the attack.

All victims are receiving necessary medical assistance.

Additionally, falling debris damaged industrial infrastructure, residential buildings, and commercial facilities. Emergency services are working to extinguish fires that broke out.

Governor Yevraev stated that the immediate threat has been neutralized. Experts are continuing to assess the damage and clear up the aftermath.
