The euro surpassed the 100 ruble mark in over-the-counter interbank trading.
However, the official euro exchange rate set by the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) for August 27 stands at 98.29 rubles.
OTC interbank rates and the official CBR rate may diverge as the latter is set separately and does not reflect every short-term market fluctuation.
