### Blaze Contained at Amur Gas Chemical Complex Construction Site
A fire that broke out at the construction site of the Amur Gas Chemical Complex has been successfully contained, according to company officials. The fire is currently burning in a controlled manner, limited to the affected area.
Specialists are carrying out necessary measures to fully eliminate the consequences of the incident. The fire occurred at an auxiliary technological unit of the pyrolysis installation. The main equipment of the Amur Gas Chemical Complex was not damaged.
Media reports indicate that dozens of people were injured in the accident. One person has died, and a total of 87 people were affected. Five employees were hospitalized in the city of Svobodny and are receiving medical care. Several others with minor injuries, such as bruises and cuts, were treated on-site.
Preliminary findings suggest that the fire started due to an explosion in a methanol tank. Emergency services and company specialists are on-site to investigate the incident. A special commission has been formed to determine the exact cause of the accident.
