### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive Drone Attack Russian air defense systems successfully repelled a large-scale drone attack overnight, intercepting and destroying 598 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The drones were detected over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver, and Tula regions. Additionally, air defense systems were active in the Moscow region, Krasnodar territory, and Crimea. Some of the drones were intercepted over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
