Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 553 Ukrainian drones overnight on August 14, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the regions of Novgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Smolensk, Tver, Pskov, Oryol, Tula, Lipetsk, Kostroma, Ryazan, Rostov, Leningrad, Moscow, Krasnodar, Stavropol, and the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the Black and Azov Sea waters.
