### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive Drone Attack In the night of August 2, Russian air defense systems intercepted one of the largest drone attacks, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The duty crews of the air defense systems neutralized and intercepted 635 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the aircraft type. The drones were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Tambov, and Tula regions, the Moscow area, the Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Krai, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. Emergency and operational services are working at the sites where the UAV debris fell.
