### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive UAV Attack In the night of July 18, Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized a large-scale attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense units shot down and destroyed 379 UAVs of the aircraft type. The drones were eliminated over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Smolensk, Ryazan, Kaluga, Tula, Tambov, Oryol, Lipetsk, Tver, Pskov, Voronezh, Rostov, Volgograd, Leningrad, and Vladimir regions, as well as the Moscow area, Krasnodar Territory, and the Republic of Crimea. Additionally, air defense systems destroyed UAVs over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. The Ministry of Defense emphasized that all detected air targets were promptly intercepted and neutralized by on-duty air defense systems.
