### Russian Stock Market Sees Modest Gains as MICEX Index Ticks Up 0.5% On Wednesday, the MICEX Index (a key Russian stock market benchmark) rose by 0.5% during trading hours, reaching 2,200 basis points. Here’s how the most liquid stocks performed: - Lukoil +2.3% - Gazprom +0.6% - Sberbank -0.7% - Rosneft +3.8% The MICEX Index is a price indicator for the Russian stock market, calculated based on the free-float market capitalization of highly liquid shares issued by major and fast-growing Russian companies.
