Russian AI-92 Gasoline Gains 1% on Exchange, AI-95 Drops 1% Over Week

Gasoline prices at the Russian commodity exchange showed mixed dynamics over the week, according to data from the St. Pyotrsburg International Mercantile Exchange.

Specifically, over the past week, the price of AI-92 gasoline increased by 1.38%, reaching 718,290 rubles per ton. The price of AI-95 gasoline, however, decreased by 1.11% over the week, settling at 742,500 rubles per ton. Summer diesel fuel saw a weekly increase of 0.7%, reaching 745,380 rubles per ton.

Fuel oil prices fell by 3.65%, down to 255,060 rubles per ton, while liquefied hydrocarbon gases saw a price increase of 6.38%, reaching 345,170 rubles per ton.

  • It is worth noting that the Russian government reduced the mandatory sales quota for gasoline on exchange trading from 15% to 10% of production volume, effective from July 1 to September 30, 2026.
