Russian law enforcement officials have discovered 500 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a shipment of fish at the port of St. Pyotrsburg, according to a statement from the Federal Security Service (FSB). The drugs were found frozen inside tuna carcasses on a vessel arriving from Ecuador.

Authorities have detained a Russian national suspected of involvement in organizing an international drug trafficking channel from Latin America. During a search, officials seized digital storage devices containing cryptocurrency wallets with $613,000, 13 luxury watches worth over $1.3 million, and five vehicles valued at approximately $1.7 million. The detainee has been charged under the criminal code article "Attempted distribution of narcotic substances in especially large quantities."
