Garbage Collection Suspended in Four Zabaykalsky Districts Due to Fuel Shortage

Fuel Shortage in Zabaykalsky Krai has affected the operation of municipal infrastructure. The regional operator for solid waste management, "Oleron+", announced a temporary suspension of garbage collection in Cheryshevsky, Sretensky, Gazimuro-Zavodsky, and Krasnokamensky districts.

The company explained that the restrictions are due to a lack of fuel and assured that the service will be fully restored once the situation stabilizes. Meanwhile, they promised to organize mandatory collection of accumulated waste at overfilled container sites.

Earlier, the authorities of Zabaykalsky Krai introduced an enhanced readiness mode to stabilize the situation in the regional motor fuel market. Fuel companies were instructed to maintain a one-month non-reducible fuel reserve for emergency services. Until the situation normalizes, gas stations have imposed a limit of 15 liters per individual, with fuel only being dispensed directly into vehicle tanks.
