Crimean Bridge Traffic Temporarily Halted, 1,000-Vehicle Queue Forms Near Kerch

Vehicle traffic on the Crimean Bridge has been temporarily halted. The restriction came into effect at 11:50 PM.

The information center for the operation of the bridge announced that drivers currently on the bridge or in the inspection area should remain calm and follow the instructions of transport security personnel.

Shortly before the restrictions were implemented, as of 11:00 PM, traffic conditions leading to the bridge were mixed. There were no queues before the manual inspection point on the Taman side, while around 1,000 vehicles were waiting for inspection on the Kerch side.

The official reason for the temporary closure has not been disclosed. Further updates on the resumption of traffic will be provided.
