The Russian government has allocated 60 billion rubles ($800 million) to provide subsidized loans to agricultural producers.

The funds will cover more than 41,000 subsidized loans taken by farmers, both short-term and long-term investments for the production and processing of agricultural products, as well as the manufacture of veterinary drugs, enzymes, feed and food additives.

"We expect that these measures will help maintain the stability of farms and ensure that Russian citizens continue to have access to high-quality domestic food products," said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the government press service.
