The Russian government has decided not to extend the moratorium on resetting the fuel market stabilization mechanism, known as the "fuel damper" (a system designed to mitigate fluctuations in fuel prices), according to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, as reported by TASS.

"Given the current situation, we have decided to stay within the existing tax legislation for now," Novak said in response to a question on the sidelines of the Caucasus Investment Forum. "If there is a need for it, a separate decision will be made," he added.
