Cleanup operations continue in Tuapse following a spill of oil products caused by drone attacks, the Operational Headquarters of Krasnodar Region reports. The work is being carried out around the clock in an enhanced mode.
Actions are coordinated under the instructions of Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, with Deputy Governor Dmitry Maslov leading the efforts on-site.
The main focus is on cleaning the Tuapse River downstream, as well as the coastal area and the Black Sea waters. To date, more than 2,500 cubic meters of contaminated soil have been removed. Over 130 specialists and dozens of specialized equipment units are involved in the cleanup effort.
