Trump Extends Iran Sanctions Waivers Again

U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered the extension of the ceasefire with Iran, he announced on Truth Social.

According to Trump, the Pakistani leadership, acting as a mediator between Washington and Tehran, requested the extension. The ceasefire will continue to allow Iranian representatives to develop a unified proposal for conflict resolution. Meanwhile, the U.S. will maintain the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

"I have ordered our armed forces to continue the blockade and remain ready and capable of action, as well as extend the ceasefire until their proposal is presented and negotiations are concluded one way or another," the White House leader stated.
