Over 70 Russians and Family Members Evacuated from Lebanon to Russia Amid Conflict

An emergency services plane from Russia has departed Beirut for Moscow carrying Russian citizens and their family members who decided to leave the conflict zone, according to a statement from the Russian Emergencies Ministry (MChS).

The evacuation flight is carrying 73 Russians, including 33 children. The evacuation of Russian nationals was organized on the orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, a special flight from the Russian Emergencies Ministry delivered over 27 tons of humanitarian aid to Lebanon for the local population affected by the military conflict in the Middle East.
