U.S. sanctions on Russian oil have been reinstated, as the Trump administration did not extend the waiver, according to Politico.

Earlier, due to the crisis in the Middle East, the U.S. Treasury Department had temporarily suspended sanctions on Russian oil and petroleum products loaded onto vessels before March 12, allowing transactions to proceed until April 11.
