The most popular brands imported from Japan were Toyota (15,200 units), Honda (15,100 units), Suzuki (4,200 units), Mazda (2,500 units), and Volkswagen (1,900 units). In terms of models, the top five imports were the Honda Freed, Honda Stepwgn, Honda Fit, Toyota Corolla, and Suzuki Jimny.
