Russia Increases Mushroom Exports by 20% in 2025

In 2025, Russia set a new historical record for mushroom exports both in volume and value. Over the course of the year, the country shipped 9,400 tons of mushrooms worth $10.5 million. The previous record was set in 2022, when 7,900 tons were exported for $9.2 million, according to the federal center for agricultural export support.

Compared to 2024, the volume of mushroom exports increased by 20% and the value by 42%. The main importers of Russian mushrooms were Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. In total, Russia exported mushrooms to more than 45 countries worldwide.
