### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive Drone Attack In the night of April 5, Russian air defense forces successfully repelled a large-scale attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to military reports, from 10:00 PM on April 4 to 8:00 AM on April 5, a total of 87 fixed-wing drones were detected, intercepted, and destroyed. The aerial targets were tracked across multiple regions of the country. The drones were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Kursk, Oryol, Tambov, Kaluga, Penza, Ulyanovsk, Tver, and Leningrad Oblasts, as well as the Republic of Mordovia and the Crimean Peninsula. Emergency and operational services are currently working at the sites where the drones crashed.
