Iran Requests Ceasefire from the U.S., Reports White House Chief on Truth Social

Iran has requested a ceasefire from the United States, according to a post by the White House chief on the social media platform Truth Social.

"The new president of the Iranian regime, far less radicalized and much smarter than his predecessors, has just asked the United States of America for a truce!" he wrote.

According to Trump, Washington will consider the proposal once the Strait of Hormuz (a strategic waterway between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman) "is open, free, and clean."

"Until then, we will bomb Iran into total obliteration or, as they say, back to the Stone Age!!!" concluded the U.S. leader.
