Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 42 Ukrainian drones during the night of April 1, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Thirty drones were eliminated over the Rostov region, three over the Crimean Peninsula (a region claimed by both Russia and Ukraine), two over the Krasnodar region, two over the Azov Sea, two over the Black Sea, one over the Belgorod region, one over the Kursk region, and one over the Stavropol region.
