Apple ID mobile payment option no longer available for Russian users

Starting April 1, Russian users can no longer top up their Apple ID balance using their mobile phone credit.

"Mobile payment is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later," reads the service message users receive when attempting to make a payment.

• Earlier, mobile operators received instructions from the Ministry of Digital Development (MinTsvet) to temporarily suspend the ability to pay for Apple services using mobile phone credit. This measure is intended to compel the U.S. company to restore Russian apps in the App Store.
