### Russian Ice Cream Exports Hit 17,300 Tons in 2025, Up 13.8% from Previous Year
Russian ice cream exports reached 17,300 tons worth $76 million in 2025, marking a 13.8% increase in volume and a 31% rise in value compared to the previous year, according to data from Agroexport, as reported by Interfax.
The highest export volume was recorded in 2021, with 33,100 tons worth $85.4 million. However, exports have been significantly affected by sanctions, leading to a loss of the U.S. and European markets. To compensate, Russia has increased shipments to friendly countries. For instance, exports to Uzbekistan have quadrupled in value since 2021, while those to Belarus have increased 3.5 times, Kazakhstan by 36%, and Mongolia by 30%.
Russian companies are also exploring alternative markets, particularly in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. China, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates are seen as having the greatest potential for increased exports.
