Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed an order relieving Sergey Shklyaev of his duties as Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia. The document was published on the official legal information portal.

The order states that Shklyaev left the position of his own volition. He had served as Deputy Head of the FCS since May 2024 and had been working in customs agencies since 1996.

According to the official FCS website, during his service, Shklyaev was repeatedly honored with departmental and state awards, including a Presidential Commendation, the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree, and the Order of Friendship.

Meanwhile, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website reports that Shklyaev has been appointed Minister for Customs Cooperation at the EEC. The decision was made by the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
