Philippines Considering Purchase of Russian Oil

The Philippines is open to energy supplies from various sources, including Russia, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said in an interview with Bloomberg.

"Russia is not a traditional supplier of oil or other energy resources for the Philippines, but we are considering this option," he noted.

Marcos added that Malaysia is one of the main suppliers of oil to the Philippines, with fuel also being purchased from Japan and South Korea.
