Russian Security Service (FSB) has thwarted a series of terrorist attacks targeting critical infrastructure, government officials, Ministry of Defense personnel, and law enforcement officers in Moscow and the Moscow region, according to a statement by the FSB Public Relations Center.

The attacks were planned by Ukrainian intelligence services using homemade explosive devices and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). An attempt was made to purchase UAVs capable of carrying payloads up to 20 kg from a Moscow-based company, similar to those used by Russian military forces. These drones were intended for attacks on targets in Moscow, but the plans were foiled by FSB officers.
