Precious metal prices - platinum, palladium, gold and silver - are falling by 3.44-7.78% during trading on March 19, according to data from the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and Comex.

The price of the April gold futures contract has dropped by 3.44% to $4,727.9 per troy ounce, the June palladium futures contract by 5.8% to $1,447.5 per troy ounce, the April platinum futures contract by 6.37% to $1,925.6 per troy ounce, and the May silver futures contract by 7.78% to $71.555 per troy ounce.
