### Russian Security Services Prevented Over $30 Billion in Potential Defense Industry Embezzlement in 2025 Russian security services have prevented over 30 billion rubles ($300 million USD) in potential embezzlement from Russian defense enterprises in 2025, according to data from the Federal Security Service (FSB) cited by TASS. In total, more than 700 criminal cases were initiated last year, with over 200 individuals convicted. Approximately 10 billion rubles ($100 million USD) have been returned to the federal budget and defense enterprises (OПК, Russian acronym for "defense industry enterprises").
