Russia is open to international and multilateral cooperation regarding the utilization and distribution of electricity produced by the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, said Alexey Likhachev, head of Rosatom, following interdepartmental consultations between Russia and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Moscow.

Likhachev indicated that Russia is willing to discuss various mechanisms for handling the electricity generated by the plant, including international cooperation frameworks.

He emphasized that Moscow is prepared to explore multilateral engagement options, including those related to the implementation and distribution of electricity produced at the plant.

Likhachev stressed that such issues could be discussed within broader consultations involving international organizations and partners.
