The Russian government will allocate 5 billion rubles to modernize postal offices and other facilities of Russian Post, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced.

According to Mishustin, the funds will be used to "update and bring more than 930 postal offices and other mail facilities in rural areas and remote locations into compliance with standards." The work will be carried out over three years.
