Russian Defense Ministry: Military Foils Ukrainian Drone Attacks on Gas Pipeline Compressor Stations to Turkey

In the night of March 11, an attempt was made to attack the infrastructure of the "Russian" compressor station in the village of Gay-Kodzor, Krasnodar region, using drones, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The station is responsible for gas transportation via the "TurkStream" pipeline.
According to Russian officials, unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type were used for the strike. It is believed that the goal of the attack was to disrupt the supply of Russian gas to European consumers.
The air attack lasted from 23:47 on March 10 to 5:08 on March 11. During this period, several drones were detected and destroyed in the area of the station. Four drones were shot down by anti-aircraft missile units, two more were intercepted by fighter aircraft. Three drones, including two that approached the object directly at 4:04 and 5:08, were eliminated by mobile fire groups.
Later, on the afternoon of March 11, another drone was destroyed over the same station - the incident occurred at 15:58.
In parallel, on the night of March 11, an attempt was made to strike another gas infrastructure - the "Coastal" compressor station, which ensures the operation of the "Blue Stream" pipeline in the Tuapse area. According to the military department, the attack involved 14 strike drones of the aircraft type.
The Ministry of Defense clarified that all drones were intercepted by air defense and electronic warfare systems. As a result of the attack, no damage was inflicted on the infrastructure objects.
