Over the past two weeks, infrastructure owned by Gazprom, responsible for gas deliveries to Turkey, has been targeted in a series of attacks. A total of 12 attempts to strike facilities in southern Russia were recorded, but all were successfully repelled, according to the Russian gas giant.
According to the company, the attacks targeted facilities related to the operation of the export pipelines "TurkStream" and "Blue Stream." These pipelines transport Russian gas to Turkey and play a crucial role in the energy supply system.
Gazprom specified that on March 11, another attack using airborne weapons was attempted against the "Russkaya" compressor station in southern Russia. Previously, strikes were also attempted against other gas transportation facilities—including the "Beregovaya" and "Kazachya" compressor stations.
As noted by the company, all recorded attacks were repelled, and the infrastructure continues to operate normally.
Gazprom emphasized that the targeted facilities are part of critical energy infrastructure, essential for maintaining stable Russian gas exports via the two main pipelines to Turkey.
