Russian Fish Can Exports Rise 19% Year-on-Year

In 2025, Russia exported over 24,000 tons of fish canned products to foreign markets, earning a record $77 million. This represents a 19% year-on-year increase in export revenue, according to the federal center "Agroexport".

The previous record for export revenue from fish canned products was set in 2022, when products worth $67 million were shipped abroad.

Last year, the top importers of Russian fish canned products included Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan. For the first time, Laos and Thailand purchased Russian fish canned products, while shipments to South Korea resumed after a break since 2023. Overall, Russian fish canned products are purchased by more than 70 countries worldwide.
