Brent crude oil prices dipped below $87 per barrel during trading on March 11, according to data from the London-based ICE exchange.

During the session, the price of the May futures contract for Brent crude fell by 1.23%, reaching $86.72 per barrel.

The decline came after the International Energy Agency (IEA) announced a proposal to release the largest-ever volume of oil reserves to stabilize the market.
