### Russian Stock Market Opens Higher: MICEX Index Up 0.5% On Wednesday morning, the MICEX Index (the benchmark stock market index of the Moscow Exchange) opened higher, rising 0.5% to trade at 2,800 basis points. Here is the trading activity for the most liquid stocks: - Lukoil +0.5% - Sberbank +0.5% - Gazprom +0.2% - Polyus +0.5% The MICEX Index reflects the performance of the Russian stock market, calculated based on the free-float market capitalization of the most liquid shares of major and fast-growing Russian companies. It is a composite price index weighted by free-float market capitalization, which is reviewed and adjusted quarterly. This market overview was presented by Yulia Grishchenko, Ph.D. in Economics, Head of the Department of Financial and Investment Management at the Faculty of "Higher School of Management" of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and a member of the Expert Council on Listing at the Moscow Exchange.
