By the end of 2025, over 422 thousand people in Russia signed contracts to serve in the Russian Armed Forces. These figures were announced by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, during a meeting on troop staffing issues.
"422,704 people signed contracts for military service. These are the final data that we have," he stated.
In addition, he noted that another 32 thousand people signed contracts to serve as volunteers. Medvedev emphasized that the task set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding troop staffing has been completed.
