The simplified procedure for importing electronic devices into Russia will remain in effect until the end of 2026. The extension applies to the process of registering notifications - special documents required for importing equipment that uses cryptographic functions and encryption tools.

This covers a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, personal computers, microchips, and radio communication equipment. Under the simplified mechanism, notifications can be processed not only through the Center for Licensing, Certification and Protection of State Secrets of the FSB, but also with the involvement of industry associations.

In addition, the requirement to provide customs authorities with notification information when importing equipment, if it is supplied as components for industrial production of equipment within the country, has been eliminated.

This decision will help prevent a shortage of electronic products in the domestic market and ensure stable supplies amid external sanctions.
