Putin signed a decree on organizing drills for reservists to protect critical facilities

The corresponding decree was signed by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The document was published on the portal of legal acts. - In 2026, Russian citizens who are in the mobilization personnel reserve of the Armed Forces of Russia will be directed to special training sessions to ensure the protection of critical infrastructure facilities and other life-supporting objects, - it says in the document. The government has been tasked with determining the list of critical infrastructure facilities to which reservists will be directed. - Earlier, in November 2025, the President of Russia signed a law allowing citizens who have signed a contract to remain in the reserve of the Armed Forces of Russia to participate in special training sessions for the protection of critical infrastructure facilities.
