Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order extending the requirement for non-residents from «hostile» countries regarding transactions on the territory of Russia. Such transactions are prohibited for them without obtaining special permission.

The corresponding order was adopted in 2022 in response to hostile actions by certain foreign states and international organizations. Its application was extended to strategic enterprises, energy companies, banks with foreign participation, service and production of equipment in the energy sector, users of mining areas. The new extension keeps this order in effect for another two years, until December 31, 2027.
