Russian Government to be Presented with "Roadmap" for Forestry Machinery Components

The development of the forestry machinery industry was discussed in the Government. As a result of the meeting, Denis Manturov, the First Deputy Prime Minister, gave a number of important instructions.

Among them is an analysis of the nomenclature of the produced equipment, including that manufactured in Belarus.

"Necessary types and models of equipment, taking into account the timeframe for their development, must be integrated into the plan of priority measures aimed at developing production and increasing the share of Russian forest-harvesting equipment in the market," — the press service of the government reports.

In addition, a "roadmap" for the development of component production will be created. Here, the Government proposes to focus on the unification of nodes and units for different types of equipment.

A separate instruction was given to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It is known that at the moment manufacturers of forestry equipment are provided with support measures. The Ministry will have to assess their effectiveness.
