Net profit of Mercedes-Benz for the first nine months of 2025 fell by half compared to the same period of the previous year. It amounted to 3.87 billion euros, which is 50.3% less than the 7.80 billion euros of the previous year.

The main reasons for the profit decline were tariffs, falling sales, and expenses related to efficiency improvements.

In the third quarter, profit decreased by almost 31% to 1.19 billion euros, while revenue fell by 6.9% to 32.14 billion euros. Sales of cars and vans from July to September dropped by 12% to 525,300 units, and for the first nine months of the year — by 9% to 1.6 million vehicles. In 2024, sales also decreased by 4%.

In February, the company announced a cost-cutting program, aiming to reduce production costs and fixed expenses by 10% by 2027.
