U.S. President Donald Trump has set a condition for holding a new meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The American leader is ready to conduct negotiations, but only if he is confident that a deal to resolve the Ukrainian crisis will be reached.

"We have to be sure that we will make a deal. I am not going to waste my time," Trump emphasized.

At the same time, the U.S. president separately noted that there has always been a "wonderful" line of communication in his relationship with the Russian leader.
