Expanded the list of awards, the winners of which are exempt from personal income tax

The list of awards whose laureates are exempt from personal income tax has been expanded. The corresponding постановление signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The Russian winners of the Union State Prize for Young Scientists will no longer pay a 13% personal income tax.

The Russian Government recalled that the Union State Prize for Young Scientists was established last year. The award is given to scientists under the age of 35. Its amount will be 3 million rubles.

The prize is awarded every two years for the results of scientific research in the field of natural sciences, engineering and humanities, as well as in the field of strengthening the defense capabilities of the two states.
