A GOST on wine tourism practices may appear in Russia. Its introduction was announced by Anton Shalaev, head of Rosstandart, at the opening of the Days of Russian Wines, TASS reports.

- We currently have a number of very well-known standards in the field of viticulture and wine production. I am announcing an update of GOST for wines with protected geographical indication and protected location, an update of GOST for a number of methods of collection and research, and equipment used to collect and study the quality of wine products. We are developing wine tourism, so we are expecting a guest on the best practices of wine tourism," Shalaev said.
