Russian companies LUKOIL and Rosneft have been placed under blocking sanctions by the UK. This follows from a document published on the website of the Government of the kingdom.
Previously, LUKOIL and Rosneft were under sectoral sanctions. New restrictive measures include the freezing of their assets, as well as sanctions against trust services and transport.
In addition to Russian companies, Indian Nayara Energy (whose largest shareholder is Rosneft) is also subject to British sanctions.and the Chinese National Pipeline Group Beihai Liquified Natural Gas CO LTD (here, its interaction with vessels already under UK sanctions was pointed out as the basis for sanctions).
